JavaScript Exploratorium
The JavaScript Exploratorium provided a "laboratory" environment for learners to experiment with JavaScript. The JavaScript Exploratorium included an example e-commerce site (the "Lost Mine" catalog store), a JavaScript object browser, and an "immediate mode" scripting environment that enabled learners to experiment with the behavior of JavaScript functions and the Document Object Model. Many code samples were also provided, to illustrate common tasks such as writing and reading cookies, and interfacing to other objects such as ActiveX controls, Shockwave and Java applets. This was included with, and used in conjunction with an instructor-led course I developed in Advanced JavaScript.
